Neela Rosenblatt
I am Neela Rosenblatt, your 2027 United States of America’s Teen Maine. Originally from Florida and now calling Bath, Maine home, I am a junior at Morse High School and proudly serve as my class president. I am also a Certified Nursing Assistant student pursuing an education in the medical field.
I am passionate about leadership, service, and making sure others feel seen and heard. My platform, “Every Voice Matters,” focuses on empowering people to use their voices, building confidence, and creating more inclusive communities. I put my platform into action through my involvement with Best Buddies, Finding Our Voices, Women’s Empowerment, and SCLC. I also attended the Best Buddies Leadership Conference in Indiana and helped represent my school’s chapter as it received the Outstanding Chapter V Award.

Outside of my advocacy work, I am a varsity cheerleader and competitive equestrian who has been horseback riding since I was five years old. I also love pageantry, fashion, volunteering, traveling, and finding new ways to serve my community. I am currently organizing “Confidence Has No Dress Code,” a community fashion show designed to give people of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to step on stage, express themselves, and feel confident.
As USOA Teen Maine, I hope to take Every Voice Matters across Maine, continue creating opportunities for others to feel included and empowered, and represent my state proudly at nationals in Las Vegas!

Hayden Gates
I am a 19-year-old from Waterville, Maine. Born in Alabama, I lived in Florida until the age of four, when I moved to Maine. I am a graduate of Messalonskee High School and currently attend Kennebec Valley Community College, where I study Health Sciences. I hope to become a nurse practitioner and eventually pursue my passion for medical aesthetics.
Dance has been a significant part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I struggled with confidence and often found it difficult to believe in myself. Through dance, I learned the importance of perseverance, self-expression, and having people who believe in you. It helped me step outside of my comfort zone, build confidence, and recognize that growth often begins with small steps. These personal experiences inspired my platform, Small Steps, Big Dreams.
Throughout my dance journey, I have had the opportunity to travel and compete nationally, gaining valuable experiences as both a dancer and a teacher. I have also continued teaching dance after graduating from high school, allowing me to share something I love with the next generation. Through dance, I have developed leadership, communication, and mentoring skills while encouraging young dancers to believe in themselves and work toward their goals.
I was also a member of the National Honor Society. I am proud to have graduated from high school and to be continuing my education in Health Sciences while pursuing her interests in healthcare. My experiences in dance, teaching, academics, and pageantry have helped shape my confidence and determination while teaching myself the value of hard work, consistency, and never giving up, even when progress feels small.
Through Small Steps, Big Dreams, I hope to help children develop confidence, recognize their self-worth, and believe in their potential. I want to create opportunities for children to feel supported, encouraged, and proud of who they are, while reminding them that they do not need to have everything figured out to begin pursuing their dreams. By sharing the lessons dance has taught her, I hope to help children feel comfortable trying new things, overcoming challenges, and taking the next step toward their goals.
Family is also a huge part of my life. I love spending time with my family and I especially enjoy being a big sister to my younger sister, Gianna. I hope to be someone the younger generation can look up to and to remind them that they are capable of achieving more than they may realize.
Outside of school, dance, and pageantry, I enjoy creating content, going to the gym, spending time with friends and family, and anything involving the beach or ocean. I have always loved the ocean and even have a collection of seashells and other beach treasures from some of my favorite memories.
I am grateful for the experiences that have brought me to this point and I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and share my passion for helping others through Small Steps, Big Dreams.

Shannon Moore
Hi, I’m Shannon Moore, your USOA Ms. Maine 2027. I’m a lifelong Mainer, a wealth management professional, an avid volunteer, and a single mom to an amazing 17-year-old senior in high school. After the sudden loss of my son’s father in 2015, we turned to the Center for Grieving Children and utilized their bereavement program for many years. I wanted to give back to an organization that had given so much to me and my family, so I joined their Development Committee. Last year, I was honored to join their Board of Directors, and now I also serve on their Executive Committee.
My platform, Grief to Growth, is rooted in showing resilience after loss and reminding others that joy can be found again after navigating hard times. In my spare time, you’ll usually find me on the sidelines cheering on my son, taking SHiNE Dance Fitness classes, or searching for sea glass.

Morgan Kindelan
I am Morgan Kindelan, and I am incredibly blessed and honored to be Mrs. Maine 2027! Above all else, I’m a wife to my husband, Zac, and a proud mom to our three amazing daughters, Madilynn, Makelle, and Misla-Mahryn. My family is my greatest joy and the biggest reason I strive to make a difference in the lives of others.
I work full-time as an Advanced EMT and am currently pursuing my Paramedic license. Outside of work and school, I love spending time with my family and enjoying the beautiful outdoors here in Maine.
My platform, Silence After the Sirens, was inspired by the overwhelming need for mental health support within the first responder community. I’m passionate about breaking the stigma, creating safe and judgment-free conversations, and connecting first responders with meaningful resources and support.
Throughout the next year, I plan to continue growing this platform while working toward launching a nonprofit dedicated to first responder mental health and wellness. My goal is simple, to make sure the people who spend their lives showing up for everyone else know that someone is willing to show up for them, too.
